We are seeking a Project Manager in Richmond, VA to lead and support medium to large scope projects related to support the Enterprise team in the Project Management Office. The role will report directly to the Sr. Director- Project Manager for Enterprise Sales.
This role coordinates projects from inception to conclusion and is responsible for tracking and reporting the associated progress of each project. The project manager will be responsible for having in-depth understanding of the business environment across McKesson Medical Surgical and will collaborate with other McKesson business units as needed. Therefore, this person will need to be able to quickly identify challenges to the projects’ success and should have excellent communications skills.
Regularly interacts with Senior Management matters concerning functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. This role will also be responsible for providing written documentation and reports to all internal and external customers involved on progress being made against the deadline.

Planning: Determine actions needed to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement action plans, and evaluate the process and results.
Solving Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
Responsibilities:
Leads large scope cross-functional projects.
Develops project plans, conducts project meetings, facilitates discussions, assigns actions, ownership, identifies decisions and tracks progress to minimize delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations that could jeopardize overall business activities.
Regularly interact with and update Senior Leaders across the organization
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
4-year degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of professional experience
Required Skills:
Proven track record of project management skills
Experience working in a large, complex matrixed environment.
Comfortable working in an environment with tight deadlines and significant level of ambiguity.
Ability to absorb and process large quantities of disparate information, synthesize quickly and connect dots across workstreams where appropriate.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute plans, leveraging various teams across the organization.
Ability to communicate to all levels; excellent verbal and written communication skills - including building out presentations, communicating with cross functional teams, and building out communication plans.
Preferred Skills:
Experienced with change management.
Experienced with driving multiple projects ad prioritizing across multiple initiatives.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities • Knowledge of process improvement and implementation
Strategic thinking and analytical skills
Ability to track and prioritize multiple concurrent deliverables in a cross-functional team environment.
Strong project and program management skills
Experience navigating matrixed organizations.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
Previous Experience in a Business Consulting or Business Analyst role
Microsoft Office, specifically Power Point and Excel
Working Conditions: Environment
Traditional office environment.
Occasional travel (10-20%)

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
