As the Conciergeyou will assist with clinic flow and patient comfort. 

  • You will monitor and escort patients to rooms as they become available through the clinic 

  • You will accompany patients to Centennial Medical Center and other on campus offices for appointments related to clinical trials if needed 

  • You will take prescriptions to the first floor pharmacy for processing while patient is in clinic 

  • You will transport orders to the standard of care chemotherapy pharmacy for processing and you will return chemotherapy to infusion room once prepared 

  • You will obtain charts for clinic staff for necessary for follow up and phone calls 

  • You will assist with maintenance of research charts 

  • You will transport blood specimens to the main Tennessee Oncology lab for stat processing 

  • You will occasionally take blood to outside vendor if needed 

  • You will print new and amended protocols if effort to keep the most current version in the study binder 

  • You will fax orders or other needed information when requested 

  • You will process outgoing mail through the postage machine

  • You will order refreshments from designated vendor and keep all refreshment areas properly stocked for patient comfort 

  • You will file the regulatory amendments training signed by clinic staff 

  • You will maintain the blanket warming machine and ensure blankets are available for patient comfort 

  • You will communicate with patients frequently

You should have for this position: 

  • A High School Diploma, preferably an Associate’s Degree 

  • At least one year of work experience in a customer service role 

  • Capability to work flexible hours
