Position Description

The Workday Payroll Configuration and Integrations Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the design, configuration, implementation, and support of Workday Payroll and its integrations. This role ensures seamless delivery of payroll solutions and integrations across HR, Finance, and IT teams, aligning with business goals and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end configuration of Workday Payroll, including earnings, deductions, tax setup, and payroll processing rules.

  • Manage and oversee the development and maintenance of Workday integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, IT, Compliance) to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements.

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, IRS).

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Payroll and integrations, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders.

  • Lead testing efforts including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Manage Workday change governance processes and maintain documentation for configurations and integrations.

  • Provide production support and troubleshoot payroll and integration issues in a timely manner.

  • Mentor and guide junior team members and consultants.

Minimum Requirements

Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of management experience.

Critical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience with Workday Payroll configuration and integrations.

  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Compensation modules.

  • Hands-on experience with Workday integration tools (Studio, EIB, RaaS, Core Connectors).

Additional Experience

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies is a plus.

  • Workday certification(s) in Payroll and/or Integrations preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field  or equivalent experience

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$115,500 - $192,500
