Position Summary:

As a Principal Technical/Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the marketing technology (Martech) infrastructure (integrated process, applications, data and technology) for the MMS organization. You will play a critical role in shaping and executing our marketing strategies by leveraging various Martech tools and platforms. Your expertise in both marketing and technology will enable you to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency in our marketing operations.  You will also be responsible for aligning with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. 

Role/Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the overall Martech architecture, including data integration, campaign management, analytics, and automation systems. Create scalable and extensible solutions that can accommodate future growth and changing business needs.  Also ensuring performance optimization and adhering to data governance and security measures.

• Lead the implementation of Martech solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, IT, and data teams. Manage the integration of Martech systems with other business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient processes.  Also ensuring and implementing system and technical standards across all the MMS marketing technology landscape at McKesson.

• Build trust and collaborations with business partners at Marketing and Sales organizations. Marketing and advocating for IT initiatives. Lead and mentor technical teams across different commercial systems.

• Act as a Development Lead and work with MSP teams, vendors and other FTEs across MMS and the Enterprise to monitor quality of program delivery, and enforce enterprise standards including SOX change control, data privacy, and data security.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of relative experience in an Architect role (primarily SalesForce).

• Demonstrated experience in leading or mentoring others.

• Communication skills with the ability to work with various business and IT areas.

• Ability to collaborate with different business and IT areas at different levels of the organization.

• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Specialized Knowledge/Preferred Skills:

• Professional knowledge of cutting-edge technologies associated with Marketing – proficiency in various Martech tools and platforms (including SalesForce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud).

• Top-level technical experience with salesforce platform and development.

• Demonstrated skill in building Marketing applications which incorporate innovative design and solutions.

• Ability to act as a Development Lead to other FTEs or vendors.

• Top-Tier hands-on experience with building integrations (SalesForce).

• Experience in developing cross-functional standards in applications/systems and operational processes.

• Experience in providing technical mentorship and guidance to application teams.

• Proven track records in documenting business requirements and translating the requirements into technical specification.

• Professional knowledge of data security and privacy requirements.

• Demonstrated experience in SOX compliance practice.

• Technical skills and experience in managing secure data transfers across different systems internally and externally.

• Experience supporting technology architectural review and code-review.

• Ability to analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement as well as technical approach to deliver the desired outcome.

• Knowledge of data modeling and clear understanding of data structures and relationships.

• Skills to work with Operations team and help with issues across all of the platforms within the Ecosystem.

Education:

• 4-yerar degree (Computer Science or related), or equivalent work experience.
