Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Data & Analytics, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead, Data Products (Commercial) to join our Data and Analytics (D&A) team.  You are a business minded data expert responsible for successful execution and delivery of the commercial data product development strategy. You will play a critical role in understanding the data needs of the customers, maximize product capabilities, and drive value with recommendations and insights extracted from the data products. The Lead Data is also responsible for supporting the profitable growth of our current revenue generating data products, connecting with customers, leading product demonstrations, and being the subject matter expert for all customer queries. This position requires strong technical skills, strong communication skills and an ability to influence and drive change.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a translator between technical and business stakeholders to execute and deliver on product vision, prioritize features, and help to ensure the successful development, deployment, and adoption of high-quality data products. Data Strategy and Commercialization Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a delivery roadmap to support the overall commercial data strategy for McKesson Canada

• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of commercial data products

• Work closely with Biopharma & Provider Solutions senior management as well as key support functions to deliver features and enhancements to the product portfolio

• Manage product feedback and provide technical support to users who encounter bugs

• Showcase and demonstrate the products during business development activities including developing demo-versions of the products

• Continuously monitor and analyze product performance metrics, gathering feedback from users and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for data products

• Liaise with internal customers to facilitate and support the development and implementation of all current and future data innovations

• Liaise with internal security experts to validate data security and integrity for external users in all current and future data innovations

• Support internal stakeholders as the subject matter expert in data reporting and best practices

General Responsibilities

• Stays well-informed about new data and analytics technology and methods, and how they could be applied for the benefit of our customers

• Oversees data quality and governance related to the data sources to ensure trust in ingested source data

• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of data analysis

• Acts as a McKesson ambassador of corporate values and of data-driven decision-making

• Independently lead projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results

• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the biopharma and healthcare domains to drive innovation and ensure compliance

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

• 7+ years’ experience and recognized expertise in data analysis and/or data product strategy, preferably with a focus on customer-facing analytics and insights generation

• Expertise in Power BI, SQL, DAX, Snowflake

Key Competencies

• Management Consulting experience preferred

• Knowledge of Canadian biopharma landscape, supply chain, physician level data considerations, Specialty pharmacy related data intricacies, and general knowledge about Canadian healthcare data related regulatory considerations is a definite asset

• Capable of managing projects requiring specialized knowledge in client-facing D&A solutions

• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into clear and actionable product specifications

• Possesses a strong understanding of end-to-end customer experience related to product integration and related dependencies across the portfolio of D&A products

• Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts related to dashboarding, data visualization, data modeling, and automation

• Ability to manage multiple projects toward effective solutions and according to budget and timelines
