Position Description

McKesson’s Private Label Finance team is seeking a Finance Analyst to support the Senior Finance Business Partner, with the finance analysis and reporting for new product launches, product cost analysis and the SKY packaging business. The role will model, analyze and communicate key metrics and drivers of the business with clear ability to create insightful analysis, particularly as it relates to the business unit, revenue, profit and product performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support in the financial reporting, tracking and forecasting of Private label new product launches
• Support in the financial evaluation of business case templates and post investment appraisals and validation of key modelling assumptions
• Provide reporting and forecasting across full SKY P&L
• Through strong collaboration with various Private Label teams, provide key inputs and insights into the Private Label monthly reporting and budget and forecasting cycles
• Drive, track and report on key Private Label and Product initiatives and projects
• Identify and evaluate trends to establish and highlight risks and opportunities
• Leverage technology and best practices to drive overall process improvements and efficiencies
• Other duties as required

Critical Skills

• Strong understanding of Accounting fundamentals
• Experienced in complex financial analysis
• Motivated self-starter, ability to initiate and manage projects with minimal supervision
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
• Ability to perform and deliver quality results within a highly matrixed environment
• Ability to problem solve with strong analytical and financial modeling skills - ability to identify the root cause of issues, propose possible solutions or improvements and influence ultimate decision
• Ability to work with and communicate with all organization levels, including senior management; ability to present and explain financial information to non-finance professionals

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• Healthcare or pharmaceutical experience
• Experience working with SAP, Tableau, PowerBI, and/or SQL databases
• Prior experience in management reporting
• Thorough knowledge of finance policies, practices and systems.
• Solid knowledge of financial statements

Minimum Requirements

• 4 years of FP&A, Financial Reporting, or Accounting-related experience
• Bachelors Degree in Finance and finance qualifications
• Financial modeling and P&L experience
