This person will be responsible for prospecting new laboratory opportunities as well as converting inquiries into qualified leads that are passed to the lab sales organization to close. The position requires a high degree of phone usage for inbound and outbound calls. The Lab Sales Lead Coordinator must be entrepreneurial, hardworking, inquisitive, diligent and passionate about delivering great customer and team experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Collection & Research: Prospects for and manages the daily intake of leads from various sources. Researches leads using the appropriate internal and external resources & information.
2. Customer Engagement: Contacts and engages with leads to profile, assess interest, provide information, and warm leads for further engagement with the corresponding Lab Sales team. Follows up on any other unassigned leads and customer requests.
3. Delivery & Reporting: Provides qualified lead information to the corresponding lab sales team. Tracks lead activity manually and through systems such as Salesforce.com (SFDC). Pulls and/or creates reports to track leads and effectiveness via spreadsheets or SFDC reports.
4. Team selling: Collaborates to the overall lab sales team by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Builds great relationships with teammates. May perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education/Training –
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business knowledge/experience
Business Experience –
· 1+ years of relevant work experience, Customer Service or Telemarketing preferred
· Strong keyboarding proficiency
· Working knowledge of internet technology, PC workstation databases and other resources for research
Specialized Knowledge/Skills –
· Excellent customer service, communication, and telephone skills
· Computer platform skills and ability to navigate multiple screens and platforms
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
· Ability to work flexible shift variations between 8 am and 6 pm, Monday-Friday required
