Position Description

The role of Sr. Associate Technical Sales Support Consultant is crucial in supporting the organization's growth and customer retention goals through strategic and tactical client solutions. This position involves providing technical expertise to the sales team, customers, and other departments during the sales process. The ideal candidate will contribute technical input into bid proposals, projects, and technical documents, while identifying additional sales opportunities with existing customers. The role may also involve demonstrating and installing the organization's products at customer sites and collaborating with sales teams to recommend products and services that meet customer requirements.

Starting Pay is between $87,000 to $90,000 based on skills and qualifications for this role in the Woodlands, Texas area

Key Responsibilities

  • BI Tool Expertise: Utilize Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making in the sales process.
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Develop and deliver interactive and insightful reports and dashboards that highlight key metrics and trends to support sales strategies.
  • Technical Solutions Development: Collaborate with sales teams to design and recommend technical solutions that align with customer requirements and leverage BI capabilities.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their data needs and demonstrate how BI tools can enhance their operations and decision-making processes.
  • Executive Support: Support business unit leadership with operational dashboards, report requests, and in-depth analysis.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new sales initiatives.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest BI tools and technologies to continuously improve the effectiveness of sales support activities.

Minimum Requirements

2+ years of experience

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.

Critical  Skills

  • Power BI Skills: Ability to create Power BI reports and dashboards to support sales initiatives.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Collaboration: Excellent collaborative skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and business intelligence engineers.
  • Medical Claims Revenue Cycle: Have a thorough understanding of the revenue cycle of medical claims.

Additional Knowledge and Skills

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with medical industry trends and competitive products.
  • Medical Infusion Operations: Through understanding and knowledge of medical infusion operations.
