We are seeking an Account Executive for our Oncology Division. As an Account Executive for our oncology division, you will be responsible for developing business relationships with key stakeholders within community oncology practices and health system owned oncology clinics. You will manage 6-10 existing customers in our oncology business within the Central Region.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Physicians, Administrators, C-suite, Pharmacists, Nurses, etc.
Identify potential opportunities for McKesson to deliver value to each customer in the form of differentiated and routine value. We make every effort to quantify the financial impact of the value unless we are not allowed to for business reasons.
Support the development of Therapeutic Interchange meetings (TIC), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) and End of Quarter GPO optimization meetings with each customer. These are the routine touch points of our team with each customer every quarter.
Function as the single contact for McKesson Provider Solutions within each customer to ensure that our entire team of support staff and subject matter experts are delivering on their commitments to our customers.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including GPO (Onmark and Unity), Clinical Specialists, Customer Success Managers, Customer Care, Medically Integrated Dispensing, Advisory Services, Finance, Pricing and Operations. This collaboration requires coordination of internal and customer meetings with these SMEs. It will happen for the routine quarterly engagements as well as for customer specific projects and engagements.
Manage your territory effectively to achieve annual performance objectives including Gross Profit and Revenue performance to plan and Territory Revenue Under Contract (TRUC). In addition, there will be unique business objectives each fiscal year depending on the strategic priorities of the business and the customer needs. Some recent examples of these include Onmark United growth and Glide Health implementations.
Minimum Requirement
Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent work experience with an emphasis in sales, marketing, business management, account management or healthcare related field preferred.
Critical Skills
4+ years of sales experience with a minimum of 2 years in a business development or account management role within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, preferably in oncology.
Proven track record of success in building long-term relationships with clients and establishing trusted partnerships with multiple levels within each customer.
Strong knowledge of oncology business, including purchasing trends, reimbursement model, drug pipeline and clinic operations at high level.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexible with outstanding organizational skills.
Organized, accountable, assertive, and focused on results.
Ability to read P/L statements.
Team player with strong interpersonal and resource management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Influential communicator with focus on active listening and customizing messages appropriately for differing audiences.
Proficient in Salesforce.com, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and internal McKesson analytics systems.
Proven track record of growing market share via new business acquisition/attaining/exceeding assigned quota.
Working Conditions
Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted – This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Able to travel extensively overnight in region to customers 60% by car & plane (4 days/week).
Primary territory includes Tennessee, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma.
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean, active, unrestricted driving record/MVR.
Remote/Home Office work environment & must live within the territory.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position:
$102,600 - $171,000Total Target Cash (TTC) is defined as base pay plus target incentive.
