The Material Handler Specialist - Customer Equipment Setup Coordinator plays a critical role in our logistics and customer support operations. This position is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment, as well as coordinating the setup and installation of customer equipment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, communication, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for customer satisfaction.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am to completion

Minimum requirement: 3 years of related experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling:

    • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of materials and equipment.
    • Safely store and organize materials in designated areas to ensure easy retrieval.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and update the system regularly.
    • Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Customer Equipment Setup:

    • Coordinate the installation and setup of customer equipment according to specifications.
    • Work closely with the technical team to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
    • Provide on-site support and troubleshooting during the setup process.
    • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide updates.
  • Coordination and Communication:

    • Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements.
    • Prepare reports and documentation related to material handling and customer setups.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in logistics or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in material handling, logistics, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
