Lead Material Handler - Distribution Center environment
Location: Salt Lake City, UT, USA - 1900 S 4490 W
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm - OT mandatory if required. Shift subject to change based on needs of the business
Full-time, permanent. Benefit eligible (dental, health, 401K and more).

Key Responsibilities
Lead and train individuals for the following functions: inventory, receiving, picking, packing, quality control, sorting, loading, and replenishment functions.
Cover on the floor in any function when required
Perform order releasing responsibilities
Process data entry (Microsoft Office 365).
Manage and track attendance for associates and communicate to leaders on any attendance occurrences (per the attendance policy).
Perform periodic audits to keep all areas compliant.
Ability to perform all positions in the warehouse to company standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
Typically requires 5+ years of related experience
Additional Qualifications and Skills:
5 years of progressive and related experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. Internal employees must have at least 1 year of experience with McKesson to qualify
Some leadership experience is strongly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead individuals, explain/train processes, as well as create and follow through on SOP’s
Basic to Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, MS Teams)
Exposure to AS400 and SAP would be considered a strong asset
Power Equipment (Pallet Rider, Reach Truck, Tugger) experience would be an asset. Location is willing to train and person selected must be able to maintain certifications
Understand, practice, train, and explain SOPs/local work rules for Material Handlers.
Passion and commitment to the success of our team and individuals. Must be able to fill in on the line if required.
Excellent organization and prioritization with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment; remaining calm and proactive
Ability to provide timely feedback to improve and maintain the proper training and support of our DC.
Always demonstrates ICARE & ILEAD principals.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to be stay on feet while walking 8 hours or more.
Ability to stay seated for a period of 8 hours or more.
