Current Need: Our Strategic Accounts Team supporting Customer Sales & Support is seeking its newest team member in Richmond, VA or Jacksonville, FL. This fast-paced role provides support to internal business partners managing large strategic accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact and manage day-to-day contract activities for large multi-million-dollar accounts for McKesson Medical-Surgical
Partner closely with account managers, customers, vendors, GPOs, contract administration and project management teams to support assigned accounts
Proactively communicate account health to the account managers and customers, highlighting progress on GPO and contract connections, margin opportunity and customer projects
Drive processes with internal teams to manage overall health of assigned accounts in compliance with team service level agreements and outlined metrics for rostering, margin opportunity and contract connections
Obtain supporting contract documentation from suppliers through constant correspondence and assist suppliers in resolving eligibility issues
Monitor regular analysis of process workflow and account activity
Ensure that service level expectations are met or exceeded
Remote Training Program:
Training is conducted remotely and is typically completed in 3 weeks (Monday through Friday)
Training begins with system instruction and is followed by thorough coverage of account and contract support, as well as the day-to-day activity.
Minimum Requirements
Requires 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Critical Skills
1+ years' experience in account management, administrative sales support and/or customer service
Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel - Pivots, VLOOKUPS)
Strong problem-solving skills: able to analyze information provided, identify the root issue, and use resources appropriately to solve complex/escalated problems/questions in a timely manner.
Experience with contract management
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Prioritization skills: balancing multiple competing priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Business Accumen. Ability to understand the larger picture and additional detail as needed in support of customers
Additional Skills
Energetic self-starter with a passion for delivering excellent customer support for both internal and external stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong problem-solving skills: able to analyze information provided, identify the root issue, and use resources appropriately to solve complex/escalated problems/questions in a timely manner

Group Purchasing Organization and/or contract knowledge preferred
Salesforce experience preferred
Education
HS Diploma required.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
