As a Staff Software Developer atCoverMyMeds, you’ll create solutions that make our healthcare system work more efficiently and effectively to help millions of people receive their specialty prescription medications every year. You’ll build products that our partners in healthcare use every day and innovate products that don't even exist yet. You’ll work with small, cross-functional and collaborative teams with endless opportunities to take on responsibility, continue learning, and mentor others.
What You’ll Do:
Architect, develop, and maintain secure, scalable web applications and APIs.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture team to ensure alignment with company-wide standards.
Lead technical strategy and contribute to the long-term product roadmap.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
Mentor engineers and foster a culture of learning, quality, and innovation.
Drive engineering best practices, including automated testing, code reviews, and incident resolution.
Influence technical decisions across teams and contribute to company-wide initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less yearsrequired if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.
Critical Skills:
10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in senior or staff-level roles.
10+ years' experience with Ruby on Rails, C#, and modern JavaScript based languages.
Proven experience in software architecture and cloud-native application development.
Strong front-end and back-end development skills.
Ability to lead complex projects and influence technical direction across teams.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working effectively with multiple competing business and technical constraints.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to influence technical and product leadership and various stakeholders
Passion for mentoring and growing engineering talent.
Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
