The Quality Control Associate plays an integral role in the success of the New York Metro inventory operation. The Quality Control Associate is responsible for researching daily quality control sheets, doing detail work on any inventory discrepancies, working on customer service calls generated by the quality control work, and general audit preparedness. Under the general supervision of the Inventory Manager, the Quality Control Associate helps to maintain the buildings 53210 account and the overall culture of quality.
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
Works on daily sheets and interfaces with the 53210 Clerk on strategies of how to best accomplish the daily QC workload.
Complies with all applicable FDA, DEA, cGMP, regulatory mandates, and company procedures.
Ability to perform mathematical reasoning and complex problem solving.
Helps Research PO discrepancies related Cycle Count adjustments, executes deep dive analysis if required.
Complies with all appropriate policies including DSCSA.
Assists with the reclamation validation report. Makes sure it is completed on a monthly basis.
Maintains a safe and efficient workspace.
Helps to maintain the distribution center’s stock of return kits.
Adheres to and promotes the Company’s Shared ICARE principles
Supports the daily internal and external customer requests and responds in a timely manner
Frequent contact with all departments including warehouse personnel, QC, management, Operations, Facilities, and Customer Service.
Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to foster teamwork while meeting production levels.
Helps perform recall notification double check duties.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
Warehouse experience a plus
Basic computer skills – Excel, Word, and Access a plus.
RF Scanner experience preferred
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Able to read computer generated screens
Good communication skills
Good mathematical skills
Strong organizational skills; keen attention to detail
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
Perform continuous and repetitive work
Quality driven, organized, punctual, committed and detail oriented is a MUST
Ability to multitask
WORKING CONDITIONS
General office and warehouse environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (e.g., lifting, standing for extended periods, climbing)
Able to lift and carry objects (up to 35 lbs.)
Requires bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping
