Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in defining automation frameworks, designing, creating, executing, and maintaining automated test scenarios, test scripts, and test data. This role requires expertise in planning and designing automation libraries and object repositories, as well as experience in backend data validation and managing automation virtual machines in an Azure environment.

Key Responsibilities
Define, develop, and maintain automation frameworks; design, create, execute, and maintain automated test scenarios, test scripts, and test data.
Implement Automation initiative during Agile Development
Plan and design automation libraries and object repositories.
Plan, organize, automate and implement the migration of test cases, test data, test scripts, and other relevant objects in a Client/Server environment.
Utilize the Test Complete automation tool with expert proficiency.
Perform backend data validation.
Manage and set up automation virtual machines in an Azure environment.
Assist and provide automation solutions for data conversion and migration projects.
Log identified defects during automated test runs and escalate issues quickly and effectively.
Collaborate closely with QA and developers to investigate, troubleshoot, and validate functionality, stability, and performance issues.
Mentor QA resources on executing and maintaining automated scripts.
Qualifications
Holds a university degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related field.
7+ years of experience as a Automation Specialist.
Demonstrates expert knowledge of SDLC and QA principles, metrics analysis, methodologies including Agile.
Expertise in designing and developing automation frameworks.
Highly Skilled in utilizing a range of test automation tools Test complete, UFT and Tosca
Proficient in automation programing using Python, XML and API
Experience in modern programing languages such as .Net, JavaScript, VBScript, C#, JSON
Familiar with version control tools such as TFS and GitHub/Git
Experience in testing tools such as JMeter, Postman, SoapUI,
Experienced in automation testing across multiple environments and platforms such as client/server, web Services/APIs, and Databases.
Proven experience in leading test automation development initiatives within an Agile SCRUM environment.
Capable of effectively communicating processes and architectural designs to varied audiences. Familiar with defect tracking and documentation tools (e.g., qTest, Jira).
Possesses hands-on experience with multiple database technologies and concepts.
Exhibits advanced analytical skills for resolving complex problems and demonstrates exceptional communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
Certifications in QA or related areas (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) would be an asset.
Pharmacy software background would be an asset.
