POSITION: Sr. Network Systems Engineer
LOCATION: 6555 State Highway 161, Irving, TX 75039
JOB DUTIES: Daily Operations of the Firewalls related projects and activities. Scoping and architecting of
Projects requiring cybersecurity consideration controlled by a firewall. Correct smaller issues contained within tickets. Maintaining the hardware in a health state including but not limited to resource consumption, security compliance, and throughput. Communicating cross functionally to coordinate across technical team. Communicate to nontechnical employees tasks that may require advanced intervention.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study and Five (5) years of experience as a Security Analyst, Help Desk Associate, in the job offered, or a related occupation.
Applicants must have Two (2) years of demonstrated experience with the following:
- TCP and UDP; and
- Firewall experience.
Applicants must have One (1) year of demonstrated experience with the following:
- Logging (Syslog);
- Route or Switch;
- BGP or OSPF;
- Azure, GCP, or AWS; and
- Python or any other scripting.
OFFERED WAGE: $118,685 - $174,300/year
