Position Description
The SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Delivery Lead role here at McKesson will play a critical role in overseeing the implementation and delivery of planning solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud. This position involves a blend of technical expertise, project management, and team leadership. The SAC Planning Delivery Lead ensures that the organization leverages SAP Analytics Cloud to its fullest potential, driving data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
This role requires a deep understanding of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) functionalities, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
Leads the FP&A transformation (driver-based planning) of existing legacy solutions that are being replaced by SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC Planning).
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of SAC planning projects.
Partners with FP&A process owner and BU FP&A leads in order to define forecasting objectives with focus on business outcomes and user experience.
Translates FP&A strategic direction and business objectives into holistic SAC Planning capabilities that enable financial forecasting requirements across all BUs.
Collaborates with IT teams to help ensure alignment to overall SAC vision and strategy
Manages day to day delivery workstreams and drives alignment between business needs and SAC Planning solutions.
Serves as primary contact point for Project Leadership (weekly status)
Identifies risks, issues, actions, and decisions; removes blockers/obstacles or escalates to Project Leadership and Steering Committee.
Drives SAC release and operational support planning and execution
Minimum Requirements:
Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience
Critical Skills
At least two full life-cycle implementations of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Strong understanding of SAC planning functionalities, including data modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
Evidence of leading SAC solutions as a product owner, technical client service lead or lead solution consultant.
10+ years of relevant experience delivering transformation and innovation in the FP&A function
Minimum of 5 full-lifecycle EPM Tool implementations in an overall delivery lead role
Minimum of 2 years of technical leadership experience using Agile methodologies
Additional Experience
Advance knowledge/expertise for SAP BTP
Senior level expertise in functional integration to SAP Finance/major ERPs
Proven ability to set direction, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to work creatively in a problem-solving environment
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; MBA a plus
