The Solution Architect, ServiceNow Compliance Workflows is responsible for providing architectural guidance and best practices in designing and developing tools and which enable ServiceNow Compliance processes for McKesson Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for working with our partners and teams to establish, integrate, and continuously evolve best practice processes in ServiceNow. You will also provide input to the ServiceNow Compliance roadmap, including onboarding integrations, processes, assets, and other relevant components to a unified ServiceNow platform to ensure consistent level of quality and service across the Enterprise.
This role demands strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing and delivering cloud-native solutions, enabling business outcomes while ensuring adherence to security and compliance requirements.
What You’ll Do:
Establish standards and practices for maintaining the ServiceNow Compliance (GRC) architecture and functionality, within the overall platform model.
Design and implement GRC workflows to achieve desired compliance outcomes and foster reporting and analytics.
Lead the technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow module features, platform capabilities, and best practices.
Direct and guide on prototyping and accelerating time from design to deployment.
Actively partner with enterprise architecture and other internal stakeholders to influence the required diagrams and accommodations to align with MT standards, frameworks and policies.
Advise and decision on configuration and coding standards.
Support & align on remediation of configurations not aligned to ServiceNow best practices.
Oversee the GRC solution, focused on core features, integrations, and upstream-downstream data flows.
Partner with compliance to design and deliver platforms that improve our overall compliance posture and enable operational excellence.
Provide expertise and consultation relating to the platform roadmap for features and capabilities to maximize platform value and build a sustainable platform.
Accountable for the development and maintenance of the detailed solution architecture documentation, ensuring transparency and knowledge sharing across teams.
Participate in training and enablement activities to upskill business unit teams on leveraging solution capabilities.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Requirements:
Degree or equivalent experience. Typically has 10+ years of professional / technical experience
Critical Skills/Experience:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a variety of IT architecture, IT Service Management and/or IT Compliance roles (such as hands-on service delivery, operations management, consulting, etc.) with increasing levels of responsibility.
Understanding and experience implementing and supporting the Governance, Risk and Compliance modules of ServiceNow.
Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform data model, especially as related to shared tables (CMDB, tasks, etc.)
Strong technical foundation in the Now Platform, either as an administrator or developer.
Knowledge and experience in database design schemas, database modeling, and cloud application technology.
Requirements gathering and facilitation experience.
Additional Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills to successfully partner with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Experience designing systems to optimize IT operations.
Relevant professional certification (e.g., ITIL credentials, ServiceNow certifications), strongly preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
