About the Role:
As the Program Manager for the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementation, you will lead a strategic transformation initiative that is a top priority for the Finance organization. In partnership with finance teams across McKesson, this role is pivotal in leading the technology enablement of modern forecasting capabilities. In addition to the key collaboration with our System Integrator, the Program Manager will collaborate with various departments, including SAP Finance Tech, Compliance, Security, Cloud Infrastructure, Portfolio, etc.
The ideal candidate is a strategic finance and technology leader with deep financial planning, consolidation, and reporting expertise. They have a proven ability to navigate complex financial environments, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives. Ideally, they will have in-depth experience in technology modernization and can partner with the Data and Analytics organization to develop robust digital foundations. This individual thrives in a dynamic, technology-driven environment and is committed to continuously improving financial processes and reporting. They are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing strategic vision with operational execution.
.Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership:
- Own the end-to-end delivery of the SAC implementation, ensuring alignment with the overall vision of forecasting excellence and strategic financial planning.
- Develop and manage program charter, project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful program delivery covering multiple business units.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals, including IT, operations, network, Cloud Infrastructure, Finance, and customer success.
- Partner with PMO and Program Leaders to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Communicate program and initiative status, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership through well-established McKesson Technology Service Operating Model processes.
- Forecasting Transformation:
- Oversee the transition from manual and non-standard forecasting processes to streamlined, automated, and standardized workflows leveraging SAC capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with McKesson's cloud security standards and governance framework.
- Strategic Alignment:
- Translate high-level business objectives into actionable forecasting drivers influencing long-term growth and profitability.
- Drive continuous improvement in program management processes and methodologies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between Finance, Business, and IT teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and shared ownership of outcomes.
- Insight Generation:
- Enable the Finance team to deliver forward-looking, actionable insights that identify business opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Process Simplification & Efficiency:
- Champion simplifies forecasting processes to increase speed and accuracy while reducing time spent on low-value activities.
- Change Management:
- Lead change management efforts to foster adoption of SAC tools and new ways of working, including training, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
- Performance Metrics:
- Define and track key success metrics to measure the impact of the SAC implementation on business outcomes and forecasting performance.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Requirements: Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale technology programs and leading cross-functional engineering teams.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-level SAP Analytics Cloud and/or financial transformation programs within SAP.
- Strong background in Finance, FP&A, or business analysis, with a deep understanding of forecasting processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong project management capabilities focused on delivery, quality, and change enablement.
- Experience driving digital transformation and business process optimization in large matrixed organizations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in managing diverse vendors for successful program delivery.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of McKesson's business processes and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey project status, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Critical Skills/Experience:
- Strategic Planning: The ability to lead and oversee the planning and execution of cloud transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction
- Program Management: Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex programs involving multiple initiatives. Experience with program planning, project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
- Vendor Management: The ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, oversee contract creation and management, monitor vendor performance, manage risks and costs, ensure compliance with regulations, and align vendor activities with the organization's strategic goals.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Excellent leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units. Ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate project risks and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with McKesson's cloud security standards, governance framework and Healthcare compliance regulations.
- Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen, including experience in program budget management and financial analysis.
Nice to Have :
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is preferred.
- Healthcare IT Knowledge: Experience with healthcare IT and clinical applications is preferred.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
