The Director of Sales Tools & Solutions is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the management and optimization of our sales technology stack, including Salesforce, Highspot, AI tools, and future sales technologies. This role will ensure that these tools are effectively integrated, adopted, and utilized to enhance sales productivity and achieve business objectives. This position demands a visionary leader with a blend of technical expertise, strategic acumen, and a passion for enabling sales success through technology and learning.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Product Management:
Develop and execute the Salesforce Roadmap, aligning it with business strategies and goals.
Oversee the implementation, adoption, and optimization of Salesforce, driving continuous process improvements.
Champion innovation and ideation to enhance Salesforce capabilities and user experience.
Lead communication and training initiatives, providing guidance and support to ensure effective Salesforce utilization.
Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain a cohesive Salesforce vision and strategy, ensuring robust portfolio management.
Highspot Product Management & Administration:
Develop and manage Highspot roadmap and adoption.
Lead the strategic administration of Highspot to support sales enablement efforts and make it easy for the sale teams to find what they need at the right time and right place.
Deliver procedural training, ensuring user confidence, and deliver on targeted initiatives.
Optimize content delivery and impact through Highspot, working closely with sales and content teams.
AI Tools and Future Sales Stack Management:
Drive the integration and adoption of AI tools and emerging sales technologies within Salesforce, e.g., Outreach etc.
Stay ahead of industry trends to identify and implement future sales stack tools that enhance sales capabilities using SFDC as the single source of truth and entry point to manage the end to end sales process.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with IT, Marketing, Sales, and other departments to ensure seamless technology integration and strategy execution.
Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance and support of sales tools.
Performance Measurement & Reporting:
Establish KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of sales tools and training programs.
Provide insights and reports to senior leadership, highlighting tool impact and areas for improvement.
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
Critical Skills
12+ years of experience in sales operations, sales tools management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience with Salesforce product management and administration.
Extensive experience with Salesforce, Highspot and AI tools.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and drive cross-functional initiatives.
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
Must be authorized to work in the US unrestricted – This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
US Remote based role.
Travel within US up to 10%.
Remote/Home Office work environment.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
