Position Summary: Full-Stack Software Engineer

We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and agile full-stack software engineer to join our team dedicated to transforming Identity and Access Management. Your work will play a pivotal role in our mission to improve the lives of patients.

Key Responsibilities

- Write effective, scalable, reusable, performant, and testable code, accompanied by clear documentation.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.

- Collaborate with team members, including offshore colleagues, to share knowledge and expertise.

- Participate in architecture, design, and planning sessions.

- Develop design patterns and generalize code for common use cases, focusing on reusable and expandable components.

- Ensure applications maintain seamless performance and adhere to KPIs and SLAs.

- Implement data security and protection within a PHI (Protected Health Information) environment.

- Stay updated on modern technologies and practices, and contribute innovative ideas.

Minimum Requirements

- B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

Critical Skills

- 5+ years of experience in API development (Java, Python, Go, etc.).

- Deep understanding of Microservice architecture and best practices.

- Expertise in Oauth workflows and Service ID management.

- Proficiency in database management and SQL.

- Experience with Queueing technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.).

- Proficiency in RESTful API development, including JSON structures and endpoint negotiation.

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).

- Extensive experience with cloud platform architecture and services (Azure preferred).

- Familiarity with industry CI/CD methodologies, Agile, and unit testing. Experience with AI developer tools (e.g., Copilot) is a plus.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$141,800 - $236,300
