The Senior Manager, Implementation Configurations oversees and develops Implementation & Validation Analysts, ensuring efficient configuration for customer product implementations and change requests. This role consults with stakeholders to deliver complex solutions and supports team members by sharing best practices aligned with strategic and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Guide the configuration team through consultative project onboarding and requirement gathering.
Manage onboarding for new team members and facilitate cross-training.
Ensure timely project onboarding with adequate team support.
Conduct product knowledge review sessions and participate in solution demos.
Report monthly on project status and team resourcing.
Standardize processes and support strategies to maintain excellence in configuration.
Subject Matter Expertise:
Serve as a technical SME for assigned product lines.
Collaborate with Product Teams on solution enhancements.
Develop workflows, technical documentation, and collaborate on project challenges.
Lead technical meetings to gain consensus on solution delivery.
Communicate with leadership and stakeholders, adhering to process guidelines.
Support internal process development to maintain operational efficiency and financial goals.
Audit and Post-Production Support:
Participate in audits and assess product impacts.
Partner with Implementation Consultants on post-transition monitoring.
Manage root cause analysis processes for continuous improvement.
Candidate must be based in the metropolitan area of our hub city Columbus, OH. Position will primarily allow for remote working, but candidate must reside in the Columbus, OH area and be willing to come into the office from time to time for key meetings and face time.

Minimum Job Qualifications
Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.
Education/Experience:
Degree or relevant healthcare experience.
9+ years in healthcare with platform expertise.
1+ year in supervisory or management roles.
Critical Skills:
9+ years in strategic partner collaboration.
Extensive knowledge of patient journey variables.
5+ years in business needs evaluation and solution creation.
Strong collaborative and customer-focused skills.
Technical Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to simplify complex technical requirements.
Technical knowledge of products and integration experience.
Project management and JIRA proficiency.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
