Senior Computer Operations Specialist

The Senior Computer Operations Specialist for the 2nd shift is responsible for monitoring systems, issuing alerts, handling escalations, responding to incidents, coordinating issue triage, managing job runs and backups, and overseeing change coordination and awareness.

This role, which operates during the 2nd shift, involves managing HP Non-Stop systems, identity management, code implementation, and supervising technology functions. Additionally, the position includes overseeing daily monitoring and team cross-training for Task Scheduler such as file transfers, task runs, event responses, and basic triage.

The ideal candidate will have some experience in computer operations and system monitoring, familiarity with HP Non-Stop systems or a willingness to learn, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage escalations and ensure compliance with technology standards. Excellent communication and coordination skills are essential.

Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday

Hours:

3 PM ET – Midnight (Wednesday through Friday)

12 PM ET- Midnight (Saturday)

Minimum Education & Typical Experience or Equivalent Combination:

Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $19.83 - $33.05
