Position Description


The Lead Architect, WFM and Payroll will serve as the primary liaison between HR and Payroll business stakeholders and the MT department, focusing on the implementation, optimization, and support of the ADP WFM system and the Workday Payroll application. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of workforce management processes and experience with ADP WFM (UKG WFM Pro - formerly known as UKG Dimensions), enabling them to provide strategic insights and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the work involved in evaluating, selecting, designing, and implementing new features and systems for Optimized Scheduling and Timekeeping.​

  • Improve internal MT processes related to efficiently creating user capabilities and systems meeting HR and Payroll business needs.

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Lead workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement. Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the technical team.

  • System Implementation and Optimization: Lead the implementation of UKG WFM Pro, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Oversee Configuration and customization of the system to meet the specific needs of the organization. Collaborate with IT, Vendors and other departments to integrate UKG WFM Pro with existing systems. Develop detailed test plans and coordinate testing with Business partners, customers, and vendors.

  • Project Coordination: Review project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise.

  • Training and Support: Coordinate with Change Manager to review and develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system users. Serve as a subject matter expert on ADP WFM (UKG WFM Pro).

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process optimizations. - Stay up to date with the latest features and updates from ADP (UKG WFM Pro).

  • Provide guidance and support vendor resources responsible for system maintenance and production issue resolution.

  • Ensure that processes, enhancements, and changes are well documented. Help to build a document repository.

  • Collaborate with the managers of other areas to create long-term plans that align with corporate strategy.​

Minimum Requirements:

  • Typically requires 10+ years of experience of relevant experience

Critical Skills

  • 10+ years of relevant HR and/or Payroll. Additionally, requires at least 2+ years Timekeeping and Scheduling experience.

  • 10+ years’ experience of professional experience in HR or Payroll.

  • 10+ years’ experience in a role as an Architect (or Business Analyst) of a large enterprise system in HR or Payroll or Timekeeping.

  • 2+ years direct experience with UKG WFM Pro.

  • 2+ years of direct experience with setting up and supporting UKG Advanced Scheduling, Attestation and Pay Differentials.

  • Multiple life cycle implementations or key experience with upgrades of large ERP platforms.​

  • Good knowledge of application access and security in the UKG WFM Pro application.​

  • Previous experience delivering high-quality, reliable technology services. 

  • Experience ensuring reliability of existing platforms while delivering enhancements to new business problems. 

Additional Experience

  • Strong technical aptitude and experience with ADP system (UKG WFM Pro).

  • Ability to rapidly learn and if required evaluate a new tool or technology. 

  • Strong verbal & written communication skills. 

  • Demonstrated Business and technical leadership experience. 

  • Must have a strong customer and quality focus. 

  • Have been successful in working across organizational boundaries, bringing together people with diverse perspectives and experience to find solutions to complex technical issues.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.

  • Experience in the Healthcare industry.

  • Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field  or equivalent experience

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$138,800 - $231,300
