Position Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Director, SAP Financials to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of SAP professionals in the design, development, and implementation of SAP FICO solutions. This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver seamless, integrated solutions. The candidate will manage multiple SAP FICO projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget, and will stay updated on emerging SAP technologies to recommend and implement enhancements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of SAP professionals in the design, development, and implementation of SAP FICO solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver seamless, integrated solutions.
- Manage multiple SAP FICO projects simultaneously, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
- Stay updated on emerging SAP technologies and innovations, recommending and implementing enhancements to optimize financial operations and reporting.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure that internal controls are robust and effective in mitigating financial risks.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain risk management strategies related to financial operations.
Minimum Requirements:
Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience
Critical Skills:
- 10+ years of extensive experience in SAP functions, specializing in FICO, with practical ERP implementation expertise.
- Experience in Business Process Consulting, including Process Architecture and Design.
- Experience in FI-SD & FI-MM Integration.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of financial processes in P2P and R2R.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and global teams.
Additional Skills:
- Functional experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Experience working in healthcare is strongly desired.
- Self-starter, ambitious, and team player.
- Additional SAP or industry-related certifications are a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
