Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Zero-Trust Integrator to join our cybersecurity team. This role requires a deep understanding of zero-trust security principles (NIST SP 800-207) and the ability to engineer, integrate, and operationalize customized security solutions across diverse environments, including standard end-users, advanced technologists, and healthcare industry customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use Case Identification:  Proactively identify and assess use cases for zero-trust configurations across various user types and industries, emphasizing unique challenges and requirements in each scenario.

  • Integration Design:  Develop comprehensive zero-trust integrated solutions that meet the specific security needs of each identified use case. Ensure that these designs seamlessly integrate with existing IT and security infrastructure.

  • Implementation and Deployment:  Lead the implementation of zero-trust frameworks, from initial deployment through to final testing and user training, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

  • Engineering and Integration:  Design and develop scripts, tools, and integrations to enhance zero-trust security measures. Customize solutions to integrate smoothly into existing platforms and systems.

  • Operationalization:  Ensure that custom developments are fully operational and optimized for performance and security. Address any operational challenges that arise post-deployment.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Work closely with IT, network, and cybersecurity teams to ensure a unified approach to zero-trust security across the organization. Engage with stakeholders to align zero-trust initiatives with business objectives.

  • Policy Development and Standardization:  Develop and standardize zero-trust security policies and procedures to ensure a consistent security stance across all platforms and users.

  • Training and Advocacy:  Educate and train IT staff and end-users on zero-trust security principles and practices, enhancing the organization’s overall security culture.

  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate the zero-trust integration’s performance, making necessary adjustments to adapt to evolving security threats and business needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field), or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of relative experience, with extensive experience in designing and implementing zero-trust security integrations.

  • Expert knowledge of network security, identity management, and access controls.

  • Strong scripting and programming skills to develop custom scripts and integrations (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.).

  • Demonstrated ability to engineer and integrate complex security systems and custom solutions.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the healthcare industry and other sectors.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCZT, CISM, or equivalent in the field of cybersecurity.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their native security tools.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills to influence and engage peers and senior management effectively.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$116,700 - $194,500
