Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.

  • Contribute to incident response efforts, including investigation and documentation.

  • Utilize industry-standard security tools and software for threat detection and prevention.

  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to enhance security measures and implement secure coding practices.

  • Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives and training within the organization.

  • Integrate security best practices into all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and manage security automation tools within the CI/CD pipeline.

  • Assist in managing user access and permissions, ensuring compliance with IAM policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A recent graduate with a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript.

  • Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
