This is a rotational shift: earliest start is 7am, latest end 8pm. This is a 1 year contract role

Job Summary:

  • Provides technical support to field technicians, and store staff who are facing complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.
  • Deliver on diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging issues within PTS software and hardware offerings.
  • Provide software support to pharmacy staff on point of Sale software and application; support POS related hardware; pinpad, receipt printer, customer display, cash drawer, and RF handheld device.  Handle tasks assigned for new store openings and ownership changes. Support escalated issues reported via email escalation to management. Provide assistance to field technicians for software setup.
  • Responds to situations where product has failed, and isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
  • Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.  May be involved in customer installation and training.
  • Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Typically, minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience. May have degree or equivalent.

Additional Qualifications:  

  • This is an entry level professional position and includes both formal and on-the-job training programs.
  • Typically, a college graduate or equivalent experience. May be working towards relevant professional qualification.
  • Employees may progress to this level from either the Business Support or Operations Career Streams.

Knowledge:

  • Basic use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Knowledge base generally acquired from university degree or equivalent coursework or after gaining the requisite experience in either the Business Support or Operations Career Streams.

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$49,800 - $83,000
