Current Need
We are seeking a Field Service Representative to join our team. The territory for this position will cover Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will reside in or around the Minneapolis area of Minnesota.

Position Description

The Field Service Representative (FSR) will conduct sales visits to Tier 1 & Tier 2 customer locations. Duties include meeting with key contacts (Administrator, Executive Director, Director of Nursing,  Business Office Manager) at group customer locations to reinforce and sell McKesson value prop, facilitate on-boarding and initial customer location ordering , support key sales initiatives as directed by Sales Managers and Tier 2 National  Account Managers, manage utilization and formulary adherence, particularly with customers using a PPD pricing model and support McKesson Brand and other product conversions. FSR will also coordinate with Sales Managers and Tier 2 National Account Manager to capitalize on incremental sales opportunities.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute sales calls on group customer locations as directed by National Accounts team. 
  • Sell and reinforce McKesson value prop that has been sold to the corporate office to the group customer locations.
  • Support customer on-boarding by making presentations to key people at customer locations during the first 30 days of the customers start date.
  • Introduce new products to field locations as driven by product conversions and formulary changes directed by the corporate office. 
  • For PPD Customers, educate key personnel at customer locations and influence them to drive lower product utilization and adhere to the product formulary approved by the corporate office. 
  • Determine any customer satisfaction gaps at customer locations and resell value prop as needed
  • Sell products to locations as allowed by customer agreement. (equipment, housekeeping products, Specials)

Minimum Requirements
2+ years of relevant experience

Critical Skills

  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clear driving record
  • Ability to travel 3 - 4 days/week
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills
  • Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong and persuasive communication skills, ability to influence and drive customer behavior to and predetermined objective. 
  • Strong consultation and communication skills; able to sell McKesson value prop and collaborate well with a diverse range of people at customer locations; tactful, professional, and flexible
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and navigate organizational complexity and change

Travel

Up to 80%

Education
4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements

Significant amount of time performing computer and phone-based work is required

Significant amount of time spent traveling via automobile

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position:

$68,900 - $114,900

Total Target Cash (TTC) is defined as base pay plus target incentive.
