Lead Material Handler, FT Nights

Our Distribution Center is looking for a dynamic professional for the role of Lead on our night team.  ​This is an outstanding opportunity to help drive the improvement and success of all our team members. 

We currently have the following shift available on nights:

  • Night Shift, Full-time
  • Sunday 6:00 pm start until completion 
  • Monday through Thursday, 7:30 pm start until completion 
  • Working overtime is mandatory as required.

Responsibilities:

The Lead position will involve: 

  • Assisting the Operations Manager and department leaders in the training and development of all warehouse associates
  • Using current training methods as well as creating and implementing new processes as needed
  • Manage all training records through the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Manage and maintain all signed documentation needed for training completion in all areas.
  • Train individuals in inventory, receiving, picking, packing, quality control, sorting, loading, and replenishment functions.
  • Monitor employee performance to determine areas of improvement. Create and implement training steps as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience.

Additional Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Material Handling functionalities to include: picking/packing, receiving, sorting, replenishment, inventory functions, scanning, power equipment operation
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent communication with the ability to speak clearly and professionally while explaining and demonstrating the process 
  • Identify areas of opportunity or concern and create both process and training to drive needed improvement
  • Passion and commitment to the success of all team members

Special Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the ACUMAX system, inventory/warehouse methodology
  • Must not be on disciplinary action for any reason

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$22.28 - $37.13
