Current Need:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee all inventory management functions within our central fill pharmacy. As an integral part of our pharmacy operations, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in inventory reporting, optimizing slotting, and minimizing waste. Your role will oversee 4+ inventory associates and report to the Director of Operations for the central fill.

Schedule:

  • Dayshift: Hours/days will vary per business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure receiving, put-away, and decrement functions are executed in a manner that provides optimal accuracy, quality, and process efficiencies.

  • Manage daily reconciliation and inventory adjustment requirements.

  • Manage Central Fill (CF) service level performance.

  • Oversee cycle count program.

  • Manage physical inventory process.

  • Track and manage inventory loss against quarterly goals.

  • Ensure inventory compliance and applicable regulatory controls in alignment with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

  • Work closely with the customer to manage formulary changes and supply constraints.

  • Collaborate with the operations department to optimize slotting for accuracy and efficiency.

  • Manage all pertinent financial policies, procedures and metrics related to Central Fill (CF) inventory.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and serve as primary architect for process redesign.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 6+ years of inventory and/or distributions operations experience and 0-2 years of supervisory experience.

Critical Skills:

  • Strong skills in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP experience.

  • Leadership skills including coaching and developing teams and employee engagement.

  • Communication and Collaboration.

  • Relationship Building with internal and external customers.  

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and inventory process.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 4-year degree preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Pharmacy experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • General office demands.

  • Position includes standing, sitting, and walking in a warehouse environment.

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$60,800 - $101,400
