Current Need:

We are seeking an Escalation Analyst to join our Credit / Collections team in West Sacramento, CA (or Irving, TX).

Position Description 

This role will handle complex issues. The Escalation Analyst will be responsible for analyzing delinquent account balances and following up with customers for past due amounts, including disputes and deductions. The Escalation Analyst will also be responsible for following up with other departments for information and resolution.  This is position will also serve as a lead for the Escalation Analysts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage portfolio and implement collections strategy to reduce delinquency and resolve disputes

  • Analyze customer delinquent account balances

  • Act as elevated level of escalation within the collections process

  • Act as lead for the Escalation Analysts

  • Contact customers primarily via GetPaid, as well as other relevant systems

  • Review and release held orders based on assigned delegation of authority and guidelines

  • Follow-up with various departments to get supporting documents/info

  • Handle and process inquiries from McKesson virtual team

  • Reconcile open and closed transactions as necessary

  • Process or submit adjustments / write-offs based on DOA

  • Handle, trouble-shoot, and resolve recurring or occasional bottlenecks

Minimum Requirements

7+ years of relevant experience

Critical Skills

  • 3+ years’ experience with AR, Credit, and Collections

  • Intermediate proficiency with MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Prior experience in escalation management in high volume matrix organization

  • Strong analytical insight, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

Additional skills:

  • Solid knowledge of AR, Credit, and Collections

  • Prior leadership skills

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to stretch as and when required and meet the customer demands

  • Detailed/multi-task oriented

  • Team player and self-directed

  • Use of good judgment within defined policies and practices

  • SAP Knowledge

Education

4-year degree or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements

  • General office demands

  • Ability to work extended hours as needed and when required to meet the customer demands
