Reporting to the Sr. Director, Retirement Programs, this role is responsible for overseeing and performing the daily administration and governance of McKesson’s retirement plans, including 401(k) plans, non-qualified retirement plans, 1165E plan and all acquired US retirement plans. S/he will partner with the Sr. Director, Retirement Programs to develop strategy and design recommendations to maintain McKesson’s competitive positioning and create a positive impact to the financial wellbeing of its employees.
Program Management – administer the day-to-day for the retirement plans in accordance with plan provisions and IRS regulations; respond to employee Salesforce cases, coordinate with retirement vendors, payroll, and internal partners to ensure accurate processing; oversee activities of retirement vendors to ensure recordkeeping system is updated and maintained; partner with HRIS Workday team to ensure payroll configurations meet the plan specifications and requirements; identify trends and root causes analysis of issues and work with internal and external groups to resolve.
Plan Compliance -- partner with internal and external teams (Treasury, Tax, Legal) to ensure policies and procedures of retirement programs are compliant with current regulatory requirements; oversee plan audits for McKesson 401(k) Plan and all acquired US retirement plans; preparation of reports and filings as required by government agencies, updates to plan document, procedures, and amendments.
Mergers & Acquisitions – collaborate with the Total Rewards team and internal partners for integration of acquired companies; manage merger of acquired company plans into the McKesson programs, including webinars to onboard newly acquired employees, communications regarding the transition, facilitation of final plan audits, and filings.
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience with implementation and administration of qualified and non-qualified plans
- Strong knowledge and experience with the legal and regulatory requirements governing retirement programs
- Customer-centric, listens effectively, shares ideas and information openly, and facilitates collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues and generate alternative solutions through rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis; strong financial acumen
- Strong project management, vendor management and organization skills
- Knowledge of benefit plan audits and procedures and industry laws and regulations required to evaluate and audit benefit programs
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Workday a plus
- Degree or equivalent

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position$73,500 - $122,500
