This role manages and leads the Strategic Account Leads in support of biopharmaceutical patient affordability, access and adherence programs.This position leads client centric or business process strategic initiatives, drives client excellence through oversite and influence, and oversees the profitability, performance and customer satisfaction of the portfolio.As a Senior Manager, this role would mentor new Managers and assist with their onboarding and training.

Accountable for onboarding, managing, planning, and monitoring the performance of the Strategic Account Leads, including corrective action(s) when necessary. 

Responsible for engaging, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, along with providing strategic and relevant industry and/or business insight to both the Strategic Account Leads and to the customers within the portfolio. 

Held responsible for managing, forecasting, and monitoring the business financial performance along with ensuring profitable gross margins for the programs and product lines.

Collaborate, coordinate and work with cross-functional teams within the business and enterprise to promote a strong, successful partnership to promote business needs, customer expectations and associated deliverables.

Responsible for identifying, controlling, and mitigating risk to the business through use of continuous assessment and clear action planning. Works closely with leaders to drive compliance within business plans, contracts, metrics, and processes while actively removing obstacles or barriers and providing solutions.

Provide product line support, education and training to client management, business development, customers, and internal stakeholders to drive organic growth and customer success. Would also provide mentoring to new Managers

Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

Education/Training

  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.

Business Experience –

Requires 8+ years of professional business experience and 5+ years of project or business management and/or strategy leadership experience.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills –

Strong customer and project management experience

Ability to develop others and build strong team relationships

Demonstrated leadership skills

Advanced analytical skills to assess business and financial performance

Strong organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as use of collaborative tools such as MS Teams

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working Conditions –

McKesson Office or Home-based Office

Schedule -

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Location -

Scottsdale, AZ OR Louisville, KT

Must be within 2 hrs of one of these locations, but will primarily work from home

Travel -

Up to 25%
