McKesson’s Medical-Surgical team (a $10 billion dollar division of a top employer in healthcare), is seeking a Data Program Manager in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for continual development and management of key Merchandising capabilities including product leads and category penetration solutions.
Through ongoing program management, establishing new capabilities for the MMS sales force and customer base, and measuring program performance, you will support product category growth and profitability. With a heavy focus on using data to find and present opportunities and executing at scale, the ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of data analysis, understand business impact and implications of their findings and translate these into meaningful solutions. Further, the candidate should have experience working with technical teams as a product owner to continue build and enhance our capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare business case and establish measurements for new merchandising capabilities and initiatives that create value for McKesson, our customers and suppliers.
Provide guidance to IT teams in terms of requirements, functionality and proper utilization of merchandising capabilities.
Work across internal teams such as pricing and category management to ensure pricing and product strategies are accurately reflected in Merchandising initiatives.
- Work with digital marketing and SupplyManager teams to establish connectivity and/or necessary data communications with marketing and sales E-Commerce platforms.
Utilize disparate data internal and external data including equipment placements, transactional history, market data, claims data, etc. to develop rich product-based targeting and provide guidance to development of new programs.
Develop workflows to deliver product leads and supporting sales collateral to sales and marketing channels through Alteryx.
Regularly publish measurements for program effectiveness to both internal parties and manufacturer partners.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of experience
Critical Skills
Experience developing technical solutions with IT development teams as a product owner or key decision maker.
Advanced experience in Microsoft Access and Excel
4+ years of experience authoring SQL queries with high degree of proficiency.
- Familiarity with a data-visualization tools including Power BI.
- Ability to process and synthesize complex data to technical and non-technical audiences.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Strong financial analysis background and understanding of P&L driver
Experience in working with large, complex data systems to aggregate, organize, and prepare data for use in business analysis
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Previous success in data manipulation, data relationships, spreadsheets, queries, and business intelligence tools
Strong ability to generate meaningful data to influence action
Education
BA or BS degree or equivalent experience required
