Generate, cultivate, and expand opportunities for long-term growth from customers, markets, and partners. Establish key partnerships and alliances with other organizations and identify and evaluate potential targets for mergers and acquisitions. Leverage the expertise, infrastructure, intellectual property, or customers of partner organizations to drive revenue, reach new audiences, increase distribution, and/or enhance existing products. CAREER LEVEL DESCRIPTION: Supervises, monitors and co-ordinates the daily activities of staff in an assigned work area in similar or related disciplines.  Receives assignments in the form of objectives.  Typically, the first level supervisor of employees in the professional career stream and/or a supervisor of "M1" supervisors.  

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY: Manages activities of a team that are moderately complex to complex.  Develops and directs work schedules and monitors work flow to achieve established goals and objectives.; Within Sales function, defined area of responsibility may be by territory and/or account(s). MANAGEMENT SCOPE/BREADTH: Supervises team members who perform assigned tasks.  Interacts with other supervisors, other functional areas, management and outside vendors to complete objectives.

MANAGEMENT IMPACT: Decision will impact the direct workgroup, and failures to achieve may impact medium-term goals and deadlines of department.; For Infusion/Medical businesses - Decisions or erroneous actions can moderately affect or in a significant manner a patient's well-being.  Decisions or erroneous actions can minimally affect the well-being of multiple patients.JOB COMPLEXITY: Decisions and problem solving are generally guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives general guidance and oversight from manager in the form of work objectives, but typically leads independently Interacts daily with direct reports and/or functional peer groups. Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information.  Communicates departmental goals to workgroup.  ; Within Sales function, supports employees with customer relations issues and key negotiations.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & TYPICAL EXPERIENCE OR EQUIV. COMBINATION: Degree or equivalent experience. Typically has 6+ years of professional experience and 0-2 years’ supervisory experience.
