Current Need

Currently looking for a Sr. Manager of Pricing responsible for pricing and profitability assessment within the US Pharmaceutical business, specifically within the Sprint Health Systems customer segment.  Individual will be responsible for managing Sprint customer pricing and profitability models and providing oversight on segment related initiatives such as generics expansion and other value-added services.  This role will work closely with the sales organization in reviewing and responding to customer renewal and prospective proposals, working through negotiations of key economic terms and conditions of the supply agreement/MCF, and coordinate with the back-office operations to implement customer contracts/MCF’s.  This role will also be responsible for monitoring customer profitability and collaborating with sales teams to optimize the value of our key customer relationships.

Position Description

  • Manage team and provide mentorship, guidance and career development opportunities.
  • Act as Pricing representative in sales meetings. Meet regularly with segment AVPs, VP Finance and Pharma CFO to influence decision making and ensure business objectives are met.
  • Develop price management framework and process to optimize value each customer relationship.
  • Develop process for managing high volume of pricing requests as well as on-going monitoring, tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Gx team, sales team and other internal teams to work to increase transparency around and improve customer profitability.

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.

  • Proven effectiveness as a creative problem solver; ability to challenge conventional approaches and think outside the box.
  • Demonstrated results orientation and follow-through
  • Highly motivated self-starter; ability to initiate and manage projects with minimal supervision

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of finance policies, practices and systems
  • Experience in business-to-business pricing; pharmaceutical industry experience a plus

Education

MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience

Certifications

Additional certifications required or desired, if relevant.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$106,200 - $177,000
