Job Summary
McKesson is seeking a Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
The Director, FP&A is responsible for Ontada’s consolidated budget, financial forecast and monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting. Reporting directly to the Ontada CFO, this position is responsible for all consolidated Ontada management reporting and is the key financial liaison to our business unit parent and corporate FP&A teams.
In addition to consolidation activities, the Director FP&A will be responsible for revenue and expense planning for our Commercial and Headquarters segments. The position also supports strategic initiatives and special projects and develops metrics and analyses that provide visibility to key financial and operational KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partner supporting Life Sciences Leadership & Ontanda’s Support Functions leadership teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, etc.).
Life sciences revenue management: forecasting committed deals, pipeline conversions, deal pricing and discounting.
Leads team responsible for month-end close process ensuring accurate and timely close and provide variances to plan forecast, Prior Year, and identifying various risks & opportunities to forecast.
Support Ontada VP with presentation to executive management and business leadership team.
Build effective coalitions to move business initiatives forward and while actively modeling iCare and iLead competencies and capabilities. Specifically, identify and address systems and process gaps; identify and implement technology, software, and new processes to increase transparency, speed, and automation to improve the financial planning process and support. Responsible for providing leadership guidance and technology vision to implement strategy and roadmap to fully support Finance transformation and digitize finance business functions and processes scaling Ontada growth.
Lead, develop, coach, and influence a high-performing FP&A team, setting and articulating goals and objectives into specifics that are easily understood and hold people accountable for agreed-to results.
Minimum Requirements
Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience.
4+ years of management experience.
Education
Degree, ideally in business, economics, science, mathematics, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
MBA, CPA or similar advanced degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
Critical Skills
12+ years of financial, analytics, or accounting experience and 4+ years of people management experience.
Ability to build strong, collaborative business partnerships.
Financial reporting & consolidating experience.
Financial and Accounting acumen.
Financial systems experience with ability to reconcile information from multiple sources, e.g., IBM Cognos/TM1, Hyperion, SAP BPC.
Excellent financial modeling and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Intellectual curiosity.
Additional Skills
Experience collaborating with executives and business leaders.
Expertise with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with Data Visualization Platforms, e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.
Excellent project management skills.
Working Conditions
Remote work environment with ability to travel 5% of the time.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
