Job Summary

The Senior Manager of Pharmacy Programs will oversee the initiation and execution of pharmacy program operations across our McKesson Specialty Pharmacies (MSP) nationally while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and client needs. This role will lead multiple teams responsible for delivering solutions to drive operational excellence. Additionally, this position will work closely with internal teams, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless experiences for healthcare providers and patients.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance pharmacy programs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage and participate in program redesign and development activities (i.e. development of documentation, work instructions, audit CAPAs).
  • Manage project technical set up (i.e. CRM program configuration, data collection tool and processes, program launch or transition activities, reporting requirements and delivery).
  • Create, update and maintain project-specific work instructions and pharmacy reference tools.
  • Manage copay team responsible for processing copay assistance.
  • Manage accounts receivable and budget reconciliations related to pharmacy programs.
  • Monitor retention and conversion rates and develop interventions to improve integration between business units.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing issues and ensure smooth reimbursement processes.
  • Manage pharmacy pharmacovigilance training compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and program requirements.
  • Actively participate in business review meetings with PSP and client.
  • Address ad hoc client requests and case escalations, coordinate internal resources and communicate to external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in pharmacy programs to drive innovation within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Business Administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing pharmacy programs, preferably in a specialty pharmacy setting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multiple departments and external partners.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to track program performance.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$98,700 - $164,400
