McKesson Medical-Surgical is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tradeshow Program Manager to lead our industry presence with engaging tradeshow and industry event experiences that showcase how our products and services can help our customers deliver better patient care.
This role requires robust project management skills and a strategic approach to tradeshow logistics, aligning with the business unit's overarching tradeshow strategy. The candidate will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional experiences that meet strategic objectives and ROI targets.The position is housed on the Medical-Surgical Communications & Events Team and reports to the Director of Events.
The ideal candidate will have a proven record of successfully building and executing trade shows, industry events, B2B experiences, campaigns, sales meetings and other brand activations in alignment with core marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive annual tradeshow strategy, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and maximizes the use of staffing and financial resources to boost attendee engagement.
Maintain the master tradeshow calendar and efficiently manage the Salesforce tradeshow intake and investment review process to ensure strategic alignment and resource allocation.
Develop and manage detailed tradeshow budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and comprehensive evaluation of criteria for future participation.
Oversee all tradeshow logistics, including exhibit setup, vendor relations, agenda planning, speaker coordination, shippingand on-site management to ensure flawless execution.
Lead show contracting, booth selection, and sponsorship engagement efforts, working closely with marketing teams to develop and implement impactful marketing campaigns.
Coordinate with the digital marketing team to enhance attendee experience before, during and after tradeshows and leverage innovative technologies to boost tradeshow lead generation efforts.
Ensure creation and quality control of all tradeshow materials, from graphics and presentations to signage and exhibit inventory, providing timely updates and clear communication to stakeholders to maintain consistency and brand integrity.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including healthcare industry guidelines
Carefully collect and analyze post-show feedback and financial data to accurately calculate return on investment, identify areas of improvement and inform strategic decisions and engagement strategy.
Contribute to monthly and quarterly investment and ROI review presentations and meetings, providing data-driven insights to refinetradeshowprogram.
Minimum Requirements:
4+ years of relevant experience
Education:
Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, business, marketing preferred
Critical Skills:
4 years' experience in tradeshow design, programming and management or project management
Leadership in project management or hospitality and excellent customer service skills
Proven success in managing major tradeshows and events
Strong communication and data management/analytics skills
Proficient use of Microsoft excel and other data management tools
Experience managing multiple complex projects with cloud-based team management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CMP, CEM, PMP)
Project management training (e.g., Six Sigma)
Experience managing forms, reports, dashboards and leads in Salesforce
Healthcare industry experience
Physical Requirements:
Desk-based work with less than 40% travel for tradeshows
Availability for nights and weekends as needed

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
