Job Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis (P&L and Balance Sheet), supporting the development of budgets and forecasts, engaged in operational performance reporting and involved in financial month-end close activities.   This position will provide financial analysis and reporting services to assigned areas within McKesson Specialty Health. The role requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in addition to strong communication skills to effectively convey information both verbally and written. The individual must have the ability to work independently, take initiative and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.  The ideal candidate would possess solid technical knowledge and be passionate about providing quality service to internal clients.

Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in preparation of the annual budgets and recurring forecasts in close collaboration with budget and process owners, including coordination of divisional input and consolidation of results

· Develop, prepare and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, expense reports and profit-and-loss statements
· Review and interpret financial data and prepare standard as well as ad-hoc financial reports
· Identify financial and operational performance trends and recommend solutions to improve efficiency
· Monitor and investigate variances vs budgets and forecasts (supported by detailed analysis)

· Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement changes to enhance the efficiency of the organization

· Support financial month-end close activities

· Ensure data integrity and accuracy

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred; MBA considered an asset

· CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA designation is considered an asset

· Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a financial planning & analysis role
· Experience with budgeting and forecasting methods and tools

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot and Power Pivot tables

· Expertise in Microsoft Power BI is an asset
· Experience with SAP systems and the ability to extract and analyze data from them

·  Ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing
· Highly developed interpersonal skills required
· Excellent analytical skills required
· Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions

· Experience with large volume transaction processing systems preferred

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$86,600 - $144,300
