Schedule: Sunday 5:30 PM Start- Until Completion, Monday to Thursday 6:00 PM Start – Until Completion

 As a Shipping Lead it is imperative that the leadership team remain engaged, focused, and committed to the success of the operation.  To help ensure all objectives and goals are properly aligned and the operation is poised for success, the following expectations have been communicated and agreed upon:

  • All conduct considered outside the principles of ICARE is unacceptable.
  • As a member of leadership, you must maintain a professional attitude and demeanor that reflects the highest standards of integrity and respect for your colleagues.
  • Any DA’s for Standards of Workplace Behavior will be considered a reflection of the individual’s ability to take responsibility for their own actions, respect for others, ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude and work ethic.

 Engagement:  including self-development, site committees, workplace/area improvements, cross- training, community engagement and outreach programs and any other value added workplace activities.

  • This will be based on the individual’s own initiative and discretionary efforts.
  • You must be engaged in your own growth opportunities while fulfilling current role objectives.

Quality:  Assist the operation with achieving DPMO goals by achieving personal expectations as well as respective team goals.

  • Maintain minimum individual expectation of 350 or better.
  • Maintain minimum expectation for area of responsibility.

Lead Role:        

  • Effective use of systems including but not limited to checking emails and responding to items impacting you and your area, AS400, Access Databases, RF unit, etc., to facilitate necessary people movement based on needs of operation.
  • Communicates well with other leads and employees.  
  • Address issues effectively and immediately and do not avoid them as they arise.
  • Reinforce leadership team’s mission and objectives when out on the floor.
  • Assisting the Operations Manager, supervisors and department leaders in the training and development of all warehouse associates
  • Using current training methods as well as creating and implementing new processes as needed
  • Train individuals in picking, packing, and replenishment functions
  • Monitor employee performance to determine areas of improvement. Create and implement training steps as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Typically requires 5+ years of related experience.

Critical Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of AS-400
  • Good attendance (must be below a Written warning corrective action)
  • Operate Power Industrial Equipment as needed to assist in certification process
  • Working knowledge of Material Handling functionalities to include: picking/packing, sorting, replenishment, inventory functions, scanning, power equipment operation, routes, and departure times

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of Material Handling issues; basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-starter / problem solver
  • Good working in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform lifting to 50lbs (weight varies based on product)

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$16.71 - $27.85
