Patients at long-term care, skilled-nursing, rehabilitation, sub-acute care, long-term acute care, homecare, and hospice facilities and services have different medical supply and equipment needs to recover or remain as healthy as possible. McKesson's extensive portfolio of medical supplies and equipment offers extended care customers the industry's largest array of products that patients need, both now and as their medical conditions change. Medical supplies and equipment are available in 23 product categories, including durable medical equipment, home care supplies and oxygen equipment and supplies.
McKesson Medical Surgical Extended Care is currently hiring an Account Manager to support the Post Acute Care territory in Kentucky, from Louisville East to the border. This is a remote position and candidates must live within the territory, and be open to travel 60-70% (rarely overnight).
Responsibilities:
- Sell post-acute care products and/or services to extended care customers, including skilled nursing, hospice, and home health
- Identify new and potential customers in order to reach the project profitability and billing levels within the territory in the state
- Responsible for securing and maintaining distribution of products and/or services and negotiating and/or maintaining effective agreements
- Partner with senior representatives or supervisor to close sales when necessary
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years sales experience, ideally in healthcare, selling into any of the following: Long-Term Care, Extended Care, Home Health, Hospice, DME, and/or Wound Care
Critical Requirements
- Demonstrated cold calling and prospecting skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain existing customer base
- Demonstrated experience consistently hitting and or overachieving sales objectives
- Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Proficiency with Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
- Healthcare Distribution experience
Education
- 4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position:
$97,700 - $162,800Total Target Cash (TTC) is defined as base pay plus target incentive.
