How You can Make an Impact:
We are currently seeking a Sr. Market Research Manager to join their Health Systems team with the PS&S (Pharmaceutical Solutions and Services) business in Las Colinas, Texas.
This role will be part of a nimble team responsible for the overall competitive/market and customer intelligence for our Health Systems segment. These programs leverage a data-driven approach to influence future market strategy and improve customer experiences.
In this role, you will be a key partner to our business unit leaders and product management teams and are responsible for gathering and synthesizing customer, competitor, and industry intelligence into potential sources of differentiation and value across a highly matrixed organization.
This person works closely with cross-functional teams to provide support through the identification, analysis, and distribution of timely / relevant business and competitive intelligence and actionable insights that inform the near- and long-term strategies for the Health Systems segment.
How You’ll Spend Your Day:
Provide actionable insights to sales team based on qualitative and quantitative customer research
Manage research projects and present findings in an easy-to-understand way
Research healthcare market conditions impacting health systems and pharmacies
Identify and propose solutions to key customer pain points
Research on competitors and present impact analysis
Manage the competitive intel platforms to capture market insights, define key themes and identify opportunities for action.
Communicate complex or challenging messages effectively to a variety of audiences

What You’ll Need:
Typically requires 7+ years of relevant market research experience
Experience with market, competitive and customer intelligence research
Experience within healthcare required (Health Systems a plus)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software especially in Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced skill in PowerPoint Data Visualization a must
4-year degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
Critical Skills Needed for Success:
Excellent organizational, execution and project management capabilities with keen attention to detail
Experience successfully managing high-visibility projects in a complex, matrix organization
Proficient at managing multiple projects with tight and often competing deadlines
Excellent listening skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence without authority across all levels and functions
Demonstrates skill in analyzing data and the ability to tell a story
An exceptional and compassionate communicator that can translate data in providing clear and actionable insights (written, verbal and presentation skills)

Experience in sales or partnering with sales team
Vendor resource management experience
Strong ability to act independently with sound business judgment
Flexibility to take on different roles and duties as required
Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment
Passion and enthusiasm for healthcare and our customers’ success
Experience with Salesforce, Marketo and Ceros software a plus

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
