Key Responsibilities
Serve as the client-facing analyst for multiple McKesson business units and functions, consulting with HR and business leaders to scope client needs, understand the root of the client’s challenges, and translate those into research questions that can be addressed with data
Gain a strong understanding of the client’s business goals, strategy, and context
Use analytical skills to make data-driven workforce strategy recommendations that support business objectives
Partner closely with the PA team and HR to provide strategic decision support through data and analytics
Conduct exploratory data analysis, generate and test working hypotheses, and uncover insightful trends and relationships
Communicate analytic findings to other analysts, HR, and business leaders.
Tell stories with data and make recommendations by interpreting the “so what” and “now what” from analyses
Develop presentations and present compellingly to a variety of stakeholders across levels
Provide guidance on analytical approaches and methodologies to more junior analysts
Occasionally advise on HR-specific enterprise-spanning analytics work
Contribute to the PA team’s knowledge of analytical approaches, tools, and methodologies
Travel occasionally for team meetings and client-facing presentations (including internationally)
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of experience in a consulting, advisory, or technical role preferred (i.e., People/Business/Financial Analyst, Workforce Strategy, Engineer, etc.), or a job-relevant combination of education and experience
Critical Skills
7+ years of client-facing Business Intelligence, People Analytics, or Human Capital Consulting experience, working in/with complex organizations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – approaches problems with logically, systematically, and with a curious mind – looks beyond the obvious and searches for deeper insights
Ability to manage multiple client groups simultaneously
Highly proficient in MS product suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience with analytics tools (e.g., R/Python/SPSS, Tableau/PowerBI, Alteryx)
Good interpersonal, relationship building, and collaboration skills - ability to assess needs, partner with other professionals cohesively, and deliver practical solutions
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences – tells stories with data that resonate with stakeholders and maximize impact
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and a drive to deliver
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience with Visier and/or Workday a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good planning, organizing, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Takes initiative and drives for solutions
High learning orientation – exploratory mindset and learning agility to adapt to new approaches
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Math, HR, Social Sciences, or related field or equivalent experience; Master’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, I/O Psychology a plus

Our Base Pay Range for this position
