We are seeking an experienced Sr Director of IT Infrastructure Services and Operations with expertise in the design, development, implementation, and operations of large-scale enterprise technology operations.
Ability to drive operational excellence, operational transparency and improved collaboration for our business units helping to bridge the shared services and business team.
Must possess a strong commitment to customer service and a track record of implementing infrastructure technologies and processes to drive efficiency and resiliency.
Highly collaborative and capable of building strong relationships within technology organizations combined with customers and executive leadership.
Proven ability operating in a matrix organization whilst operating with an enterprise mindset.
As a member of the senior technology operations leadership team, the role will contribute to the development and execution of the enterprise wide IT operations strategy, and helping to drive further alignment and understanding of the business needs within our technology capabilities and teams.
This individual will be a customer centric leader with deep technical infrastructure experience, strong project delivery and ability to communicate at executive levels
Management acumen, excellent vendor management skills, plus a superior service-first-oriented approach to infrastructure operations.
The ideal candidate is experienced in end-to-end technologies including all core infrastructure components from contemporary to legacy environments and a firm grasp of emerging technologies
An accomplished leader with extensive operational experience and broad knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies, ITIL processes and measures to drive operational excellence.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and allocate resources in a dynamic environment.
Key Accountabilities:
Acts as a trusted advisor who builds and maintains relationships with other IT leaders and executives to develop a clear understanding of enterprise and BU needs; ensures cost- effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs, and can respond with agility to changing industry priorities.
Responsible for Operational Health check scorecards that provide details to CIOs as well as metrics for all hardware, storage and compute running their applications.
Builds successful stakeholder relationships with other IT and business leaders by developing a clear understanding of business needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs.
Strategic, operational, and tactical planning for information technology , infrastructure and operations
Experience implementing and managing converged infrastructure & engineered systems
Experience with MSP operations and transitions.
Experience implementing complex and large-scale infrastructure solutions for a shared services environment
Partner with Engineering and MSP teams to operationalize new capabilities and solution design and patterns.
Partners closely with cross-functional IT operations, engineering, delivery and security teams
leadership across the enterprise developing a collaborative relationships with business leaders in order to drive the wider infrastructure transformation agenda and corporate strategy.
IT standards to efficiently and effectively optimize the production environment.
Act s a key advisory for the business unit to help implement and maintain the necessary IT metrics, SLA's and OLA's to deliver best in class service.
Oversees, in partnership with the wider operations team, the management of service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors and manage service providers.
Responsible for the ongoing evolution of the infrastructure to focus on execution and quality, while at the same time, consistently and predictably delivering service through standard, and repeatable processes.
Serves as the senior-level escalation point for IT operations to resolve critical incidents.
Responsible for managing MSP and relationships to drive excellence and service improvements in collaboration with the wider IT operations team.
Mobilizes resources and partners with managed services provider and third party suppliers to resolve critical incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
Typically requires 10+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience
Critical Skills:
Minimum 5+ years’ experience leading technology teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the I&O workforce
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate an I&O vision that inspires and motivates staff and aligns with the IT and business strategy
Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources required for success may not be in direct control of this role
Management of outsourcing services expertise
Proven experience across the IT Operations capability (ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, core infra operations)
Experience of developing governance practices to track and measure the quality of services and maintain service improvement plans.
Ability to build consensus, make decisions based on variables, and gain support for Portfolio Initiatives
Organizational Planning and development experience
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity knowledge
Budget management and financial acumen – TCO and ROI
Ability to lead large globally distributed teams having a tenured exposure to multiple, diverse business and technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments
Expertise in budget planning and financial management in close coordination with finance teams
Strong third-party management skills, working closely with sourcing and vendor management
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, organization design and development
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Physical Requirements:
Travel 10%

Our Base Pay Range for this position
